Help us Keep Australia Beautiful

a group of people on a beach posing for the camera

It’s come to that time of the year with summer here and the silly season over. With the beautiful weather we’ve been having it also brings plenty of people to our gorgeous Western Australia’s beaches and this sadly also tends to bring with it RUBBISH!

Plastic, bottles, cans, straws, balloons, food wrappers and so much more are unfortunately just a few things we can see on our shore dives and at this time of the year it increases as the numbers of people out and about increases.

Back in February 2017, Bucket List Diver teamed up with Sea Shepherd and  Arc Subsea for an epic clean up dive event at our favourite (and sadly quite often filthy) shore dive spot Ammo Jetty, Coogee. With over 30 divers, we managed to clean a fair amount of rubbish-mainly being fishing line. It was such an awesome day to get teams from different backgrounds all with the same passion and clean up the local beaches and dive site.

So in saying all of this I think it’s time we did another Clean Up Dive!

We have arranged for yet another clean up dive event to help keep our beaches and coast looking beautiful. Teaming up yet again with Arc Subsea and Sea Shepherd, bring your friends and family and head to one of our favourite shore dive spots.
